A three dimensional "SHO" emerges. Calligraphy on human bodies, one painted in gold and one in silver. The two dimensional world of "SHO" is presented in a three dimensional installaration. It is a confirmation of the magic symbolism of the word, of the perception held in ancient times.
The body painted in gold symbolizes the distant past; the body painted in silver symbolizes the future. They stand together like a pair of silver and gold "byobu" screens. Like oracles, they serve as receptacles of divine words.
