HANA-SHOU-GON (Flower decoration)

Installation for a ceremony at a Japanese esoteric Buddhist temple.
A unique object consisting of 5,000 lotus flower petals decorated the main hall. Lighting for the installation was directed by the lighting designer Shozo Toyohisa. Offering of light and flowers is a common practice in this Buddhist school.
